Brownie Collagen Bites
Gluten, dairy and egg free
You only need a handful of ingredients to make these easy Brownie Collagen Bites. I like to keep them in the freezer for when we feel like a wee sweet treat. Here's what you need to make them;
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup crunchy peanut or almond butter
1/3 cup collagen powder + and extra Tbsp or two if needed *
2-3 Tbsp cacao powder
2-4 Tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of salt
Melted (additive free) chocolate for coating (I used 1x 80g block of choc)
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all ingredients (except melted chocolate) in a bowl until combined. I started with 2 Tbsp maple syrup, and you can add in a bit more if you prefer it sweeter. If the mix is a little too wet, add in the extra 1-2 Tbsp collagen powder until you get the right consistency.
Roll the dough into 10 balls.
Coat each ball in the melted chocolate and place onto a lined tray.
I garnished with sea salt and bee pollen, but toasted and chopped almonds or peanuts or freeze dried raspberries would also be super yummy.
Place in the fridge or freezer to set.
When they're ready, enjoy!
